Magician shows a ribbon to the spectators. It unrolls from his hand and he waves it in the air, then ties a knot in it. As he tightens the knot, a large bunch of spring flowers magically appear tied in the knot in the middle of the ribbon. This is also called FANTASTIC KNOT of PAVEL. Two ropes, one white and one red, are shown. A knot is tied in the red rope. The ropes are twirled together and when separated, the red knot is seen to have jumped across to the white rope. Unexpected finish when the knot is untied and it is seen that it really has become part of the white rope. Top |

4 different color ropes are displayed, say, Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. A knot is tied on each of the red, blue and green ropes and put them in a bag, or a paper cone etc., Finally yellow rope is also put inside the same cone. Now, when the red, blue and green ropes are taken out, to everybody's surprise, the knots have disappeared and as a climax when the yellow rope is taken out all the three colored knots seem to have traveled on to this yellow rope. When the knots are untied, it is seen that three different colors have really become part of the yellow rope. Top |

The magician shows an empty transparent plastic tube. Then he displays a length of rope dyed yellow and passes it through the tube. Holding the tube horizontally in the left hand, he pulls the rope deliberately out with the right hand and - a knot is seen to be tied in the rope. The magician continues pulling the rope and another knot appears, then another. Finally, the rope is knotted in 4 places. To prove that the knots are real, the magician unties them one after the other. The magician then rolls the rope around his hand into a bundle. The rope is given a magical tap and when the bundle is allowed to uncoil, the 4 knots are seen to be tied in the rope again! In a two-tone rope, half red and half white, the magician ties two knots, one red and one white. Passing the fingers of a hand along the rope, the knots tied in both halves change colors. The red knot is seen in the white part and the white knot is in the red part. The effect is immediately repeated. The knots change into their original colors and are finally untied. Top |

Three Silks say Red, Yellow and Green are tied several inches apart on a length of black ribbon/tape. This ribbon is held outstretched by the ends between the performer's two hands. The audience is asked to call out the color of any one of the silks. The freely chosen silk is seen visibly and mysteriously to untie itself and fall on to the table. This is repeated until all the silks have untied themselves. Top |
